Center of Community Justice
Mediation Training
People's Place Center for Community Justice offers training twice a year for those interested in CCJ mediation for non-violent crimes. The training provides an opportunity for those interested in volunteering as mediators to gain the necessary skills. It also provides information for those who are interested in mediation for personal/professional enrichment. The training will teach the fundamentals of mediation through the use of an extensive curriculum, guest speakers, videos, and role-plays coached by experienced mediators.
In addition to our training at the Center for Community Justice, customized training can be given at your site. The trainings are specific to the needs of your group or organization and teach how to build consensus, create workable solutions, promote communication, develop active listening skills, facilitate negotiations, empower parties in conflict and find win-win solutions.
For more information on Mediation Training, dates for upcoming training or scheduling an onsite training for your organization, visit the People's Place Center for Community Justice website or contact us.
